The security of our quality assurance systems is guaranteed by screenings and inspections that are conducted by objective third-parties who utilize the very latest analytical equipment.

In order to guarantee the quality of our medicines and expand our manufacturing technology capabilities, we have incorporated within our Takayama Plant a Quality Assurance Department and an R&D Department of 100 people.

All of Taiyo's products are manufactured using the very latest facilities and technology, based on WHO and GMP concepts. In the laboratories of our Quality Assurance Department, the most modern and advanced machines are used to conduct stringent tests on the quality of our products.

Taiyo is actively pursuing process automation in testing. So that analysis may be conducted quickly and accurately, we have introduced a large number of state-of-the art machines, including self-docking testing machines, totally automated sterility testing robots and totally automated dissolution testing apparatus.

Furthermore, our facilities are audited by objective third parties at such times as when we add a new product to our range or undergo any of the frequent GMP inspections that are conducted by major drug manufacturers both from Japan and overseas.

  • Fully Automated Sterility Testing Robots

    This testing apparatus uses robots to test sterility without human intervention. This removes the occurrence of false-positives caused by human error, and the robots, which are programmed on autopilot, maintain accurate operations at all times.

    A fully automated dissolution testing apparatus to handle the growing volume of dissolution tests, to meet quality reviews and regulatory specifications. Taiyo currently possesses 2 of these new and powerful machines capable of operating 24 hours a day at our Takayama Plant.

    There are a large number of Japanese testing machines that incorporate automatic pipette delivery robots. They are auto-gauging systems that perform a wide range of functions, such as diluting sample specimens, creating calibration curves, mixing with reaction solutions, stirring, commencing measurements and processing data.
