The conversion of medicines into the form of pre-filled syringe formulations is not a simple matter of putting formulations that were previously manufactured in ampoules and vials into syringes. Whereas formulations manufactured in ampoules are administered to the patient soon after transfer to the syringe, in the case of pre-filled syringe formulations, after the liquid formulation is placed in the syringe at the manufacturing plant, a significant time elapses before the medicine is administered to the patient.
From the point of view of product quality, it is necessary to maintain the formulation's stability for 1-3 years. For this reason, we consider how changes in the container will affect the properties of the formulation, and also consider such factors as the syringe material properties and air tightness, composition of the formulation itself, and the type of packaging used. We conduct R&D based on this broad range of knowledge. Another aspect we closely consider is the shape of the container, as we work to make our products as easy to use as possible.

To introduce a syringe manufacturing line requires an enormous level of investment.
